Lic. Ramon Tallaj Ureña, the son of Carmen Rosa Ureña Parache and Dr. Ramon Tallaj Fermín, was born on November 5, 1981 in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. Ramon is a young businessman and philanthropist who completed his university studies in Business Administration at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre Maestra. Ramon was an operations director for private primary care practices in the heart of Upper Manhattan. Years later, he worked for Montefiore Hospital. More recently, he created a management corporation of medical practices in New York City. His philanthropic calling has led him to participate in aid missions to various countries, especially in the Dominican Republic and in the Caribbean.

Ramon has been recognized as a young professional who is dedicated to serving the neediest and most vulnerable in the community. At the same time, he has developed a leading role within the new generations of Christian professionals, among whom he dedicates himself to forming and inspiring reflection groups that motivate young people to choose to pursue careers that serve the common good.
