The Dr. Ramon Tallaj Foundation provides a range of grants, scholarships, and academic awards to outstanding Hispanic students who demonstrate academic excellence and a strong commitment to pursuing careers in medicine and other healthcare-related fields.
Guided by ethical principles, social responsibility, and respect for human dignity, the Foundation operates with integrity, independence, and a deep commitment to expanding educational opportunities for future healthcare professionals. Our mission is to support students whose passion for service and dedication to healthcare can positively impact underserved communities for generations to come.
All scholarship applications and supporting documentation are carefully reviewed by the Foundation’s Scholarship Committee. Awards are granted based on academic achievement, demonstrated commitment to the healthcare field, leadership potential, and financial need.
Once a scholarship is approved, recipients are required to sign and return a Scholarship Agreement to the Foundation. Scholarship funds are then sent directly to the student’s Office of Financial Aid and applied toward their educational expenses, helping ease financial burdens and allowing students to focus on achieving their academic and professional goals.
