Are scholarships granted by the Dr. Ramon Tallaj Foundation only for the payment of tuition or also for living expenses?

The financial support that is granted can be used both for tuition and living expenses.

Who is eligible to apply for the Dr. Ramon Tallaj Foundation Scholarship?

Graduating high school seniors, college junior and seniors may apply for the Dr. Ramon Tallaj Foundation Scholarship.

When will I be able to apply for a scholarship?

Look for scholarship application availability, application deadline and award announcement dates in January. Application deadline and award announcement occur in May and July the following Spring.

What are the criteria for the Scholarship?

The applications are evaluated based on merit and financial need.

Does the scholarship automatically renew yearly?

No. You will have to re-apply.

If I change my college/university, will it affect my scholarship application?

No, if you are a recipient of the Dr. Ramon Tallaj Foundation Scholarship, you may choose a different college and still receive the scholarship. However; if you are not accepted to college or dis-enroll, the scholarship will be voided. If you are awarded a scholarship, let us know right away if your college/university of choice changes to update our records.

Will I receive acknowledgement of my scholarship application?

Yes, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your scholarship application.
