Graduating high school seniors, college junior and seniors may apply for the Dr. Ramón Tallaj Foundation Scholarship. 

Check our scholarship timeline to learn when you may begin an online application. The scholarship portal opens in February and closes at the beginning of May. Make sure to submit your application by 11:00 PM on May 1st.

Look for scholarship application availability, application deadline and award announcement dates in January. Application deadline and award announcement occur in May and July the following Spring.

The applications are evaluated based on merit and financial need. 

No. You will have to re-apply.

The Dr. Ramón Tallaj Foundation will notify applicants no later than July 1st. 

No, if you are a recipient of the Dr. Ramón Tallaj Foundation Scholarship, you may choose a different college and still receive the scholarship. However; if you are not accepted to college or dis-enroll, the scholarship will be voided. If you are awarded a scholarship, let us know right away if your college/university of choice changes to update our records. 

Yes, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your scholarship application.
